Try something different
Well sense we have started this budget we seem to always go over budget on the Food. We have been using the imaginary envelope on a spreadsheet so this month we are going to try an actual cash envelope to see if this will help us. If this works for us i might go ahead and do it with others like entertainment and toiletries.

We've gone over everytime. But, will still budget it in an attempt to have some kind of control.
